For maximum downrange efficacy, many shooters prefer the 230 grain bullet. This load raises the bar with the maximum velocity that will still achieve complete reliability in most service pistols. The time-tested Hornady XTP jacketed hollowpoint bullet tops this offering. This load is optimized for the 1911 platform.
