Like the proven Controlled Chaos and Xtreme Chaos, the Tipped Xtreme Chaos bullets offer the best of both worlds while boasting a higher ballistic coefficient. Upon impact with fluid, they shed the front portion into four petals that radiate outward from the bullet's initial trajectory, resulting in a significant energy spike. Subsequently, the bullet's base expands, continues in a straight path, and penetrates deeply. The temporary and permanent wound cavities created by this bullet separation are dramatic, leading to quick incapacitation. The expanded solid base inflicts additional tissue damage and often results in full animal penetration.

The primary difference between the Controlled Chaos and the Tipped Xtreme Chaos is that the Controlled Chaos typically sheds 5 or 6 curled petals and retains less base weight than the Tipped Xtreme Chaos. In contrast, the Tipped Xtreme Chaos always sheds four mostly straight petals and retains more base weight than the Controlled Chaos.

The Tipped Xtreme Chaos does not expand or fragment upon striking hard barriers like drywall; it only expands, fractures, and unleashes its devastation when it impacts fluid.

For optimal accuracy with Lehigh Defense bullets, it is essential to clean the bore of all non-Lehigh Defense copper fouling before shooting them. Copper fouling in the bore, deposited by the use of common cup and core bullets, will have a substantial negative effect on the accuracy of Lehigh Defense solid copper bullets.
