  1. Hands down my favorite Beretta, "Quality over Quantity"

The Beretta, in my opinion will always be a solid contender when it comes to great shooting and reliable firearm. I have always wanted a "Top Shelf" Beretta but could never really justify the One off custom handguns I came across. After having shot many older berettas who have been put through theirs paces, I have truly been able to appreciate the quality and workmanship that Wilson Combat puts into these collaboration pistols. I had the action tune option and the chrome silicone springs done on mine as well and have zero regret based on the performance and feel of the firearm. The thin grips and smooth trigger really make it a great shooter. You can tell just how much of a difference that tune makes when doing the Double action to single action 2 shot drill.
    Overall a great firearm

Just want to add my “2cents” . I agree with the review that Carpetcop wrote (7/5/2023) completely. I also carried/shot the M9 in the Army and although I never liked the 1903 vintage 124 gr. Round nose 9mm as the best “fight-stopper”, I always liked the Beretta pistol. The Wilson is a vast improvement and if you like the M9 this gun will not disappoint you in any way. It is like comparing one of Wilson’s fine 1911s to a rack grade 1911.

Having shot 9mm handguns now for over 30 years this Beretta/Wilson Combat 92G Centurion Tactical is in my Top 2 go-to for both carry and competition shooting. Accepts reloads where my Sig P-226 MK25 does not. Highly desirable and accurate!

  5. The finest 92 you’ll ever find

I’ve owned a handful of Beretta 92 pistols over the years, but this one in particular stands out as being the finest I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Mine came to me with the optional chrome silicon springs, and the optional action job performed by the masters at Wilson Combat. To say that this is a great handgun would be a massive understatement. This pistol is to the Beretta 92, what a Wilson 1911 is to fans of the old Colt Government model.

The double action is so nice that it really feels like a long, smooth striker action on the first shot, followed by an exceptional single action. The overall size of this pistol is perfect. The grips do a great job of making the old 92 feel slimmer than ever, and there are so many small details that have been improved to make this a world class fighting pistol. The “G” type operating system with decocker only function is far superior to the standard safety/decocker. All of the parts that come as polymer on new Beretta pistols have been replaced with steel components (decocking levers, guide rod, trigger, etc.). The checkering on the front and rear of the grip frame is excellent, and provides a secure hold when combined with the excellent grip panels. The stainless steel barrel fires very accurately, and has a recessed target crown to protect the muzzle. The extended and checkered steel magazine release is easy to operate, yet doesn’t get in the way, or inadvertently drop magazines while being carried in a holster all day. The sights are an excellent choice for fast target acquisition under stress both in daytime and in low/no light conditions. The action of this pistol is smooth as silk, yet tight as can be. The beveled magazine well and Wilson Combat magazine guide which replaces the standard lanyard loop does an excellent job of ensuring smooth magazine changes. Finally, the addition of the railed frame makes this a practical choice for those who want to use their carry gun for nightstand duty as well. Mine wears a weapon light and sits on the nightstand at night, then goes into my holster for all day carry.

To summarize, this is the pistol for those who truly appreciate the Beretta 92, but want one that has been optimized for use as a modern fighting pistol. I carried issued handguns for two decades professionally, and can honestly say that this is the finest DA/SA autoloader that I have ever carried. It is a no-nonsense tool that brings with it everything you need in a defensive handgun. If the Beretta 92 is your pistol, this is the one to own and it is a bargain at the current asking price.
