To meet the rising demands of a 300 HAM’R® bolt action rifle, we designed this effortless caliber conversion kit for owners of Ruger American rifles chambered in .223/300 BLK. The 300 HAM'R® was designed to maximize the terminal performance of small game hunting. It offers a powerful and accurate shooting experience while still being lightweight and compact in its WC15 platform. Extensive testing has been done on over 2000 wild Texas hogs, as well as various animals up to 800 pounds--and it's proven more effective than 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC, 7.62×39 or 300 Blackout! So forget about just adequate power; with the 300 HAM'R®, you get optimal performance for all your small game hunts! 

Through optimizing bullet weight and barrel twist, accuracy has been exceptionally precise with the 300 HAM'R®, often producing sub-one-inch groups. This makes it highly suitable for hunting, target shooting, or tactical applications across a range of 95 to 150 grain bullets. Comparisons between this caliber and more commonly used rounds such as the 300 BLACKOUT or 7.62×39 are outlined in charts below which demonstrate that the 300 HAM’R far outperforms its competitors; offering higher velocities and energy levels over similar sized bullets within those calibers.

NOTE: A gunsmith who is skilled in Ruger rifle barrel removal should perform the installation. A barrel vise will be necessary to take off the factory-issued barrel and nut from the firearm.

NOTE: The Wilson Combat 300 HAM'R Conversion Kits will fit Ruger American models manufactured since 2018 that accept AR style magazines. Models manufactured prior to 2018 and models that do not accept AR style magazines are not compatible with this kit.
