Upgrade your full-size .40 S&W 1911 with the Wilson Combat 9-round 47FX magazine- a precision-built, stainless magazine that delivers reliable feeding, durable construction, and consistent performance for competition, range, or duty use.
For more than 30 years, Wilson Combat® has supplied serious shooters and professionals with the world’s most reliable and durable .45 ACP magazines. Trusted by elite units, federal SWAT teams, Thunder Ranch, and professionals worldwide, Wilson Combat magazines deliver proven feeding reliability, long-term durability, and the ability to remain fully loaded without damage. We build our springs from the highest-tensile heavy-duty wire for extended service life and positive slide-stop function. Magazine bodies are formed from .025" aircraft-grade 17-7 PH stainless steel (the industry’s thickest), heat-treated for maximum toughness. Precision dimensional tolerances ensure consistent drop-free performance and smooth round presentation when used with pistols and ammunition within spec.
Note: To modify this magazine for use with .357 SIG 1911s, the magazine's inner rear spacer must be flush or slightly taller than the bottom of the U-shaped tube cut at the top of the tube. This will ensure that the bottleneck .357 rounds do not nose down due to rim drag on the spacer. To adjust the spacer, remove your baseplate and spring/follower assembly and tap the bottom of the inner spacer with a punch towards the u-cutout at the top of the magazine until it is flush.
