Great Magazine
I bought a Springfield Armory 5 inch 1911 .45 Mil-Spec and the firearm came with only 1 - 7 round magazine. Looking around the web for a magazine to fit it was difficult at first because most sites listed a lot of Springfield .45's but not my model. So had to go to a generic description. Wilson Combat worked with me when I ordered the wrong magazines. They took them as a return with no hassles at all. It took a total of 1 week with shipping back the magazines which W.C. paid for. I ordered these 47D magazines and they were here in short order and worked wonderfully. The magazine is made well with great quality work and part. Wilson Combat customer service is head and shoulders over most other gun part sites, I will continue to shop with them and they have another loyal customer.

Fantastic
I own a Springfield 1911 and the quality difference between the original two magazines that it comes with vs. these is just wayyy different. 47D mags glide out like butter, never have any feeding or loading issues ( some mags have a stiff spring to break in ) but the spring in these is much easier on my fingers. Especially when you take a day at the range and have to reload every so often. They make a real satisfying/ crisp “click” when you lock them in. Over all I definitely keep one of these mags in the firearm over the other brands just for the quality as a whole. Great buy.

I use the 47D in all my 45's. Have 2 SR-1911 Rugers, 1 Kimber, 2 47D's came with it when I purchased it several years back and one back up Maxima 45. They work great in all 45's I have.
