Easy And Effective!
I just installed the 14# rebound trigger spring and the 8# hammer spring. I also lightly wet-sanded the rebound slide on 2 faces with 800-grit, to remove visible tool marks. The difference in my double-action trigger pull is amazing. It is smoother and noticeably lighter. Very pleased!

Easy Big Difference
Wow wow I haven’t shot it yet I used #8 hammer spring and #13 trigger spring what a big difference I am looking forward to range time with this gem I have an older model 640 very heavy trigger now it seems very smooth easy to do just remember to use a plastic bag the spring will fly across the room

642 Wc Tune Up
Pretty pleased with the results. After getting the internals cleaned and oiled had the 8lb and 13lb springs popped in. Reduced the trigger pull from 12+ to about 10 lbs on average. No more sore finger joint for me.

J Frame Spring Kit
Installed this spring kit in my S&W 642, When I purchased the weapon the trigger pull was 12.5lb. after the installation of the supplied hammer and the #14 rebound spring, the trigger measured out to just over 9lbs. The Youtube video I viewed comparing the stock 642 to a S&W Performance Center gun showed vertically the same specs. Same results at a much better price....

A "Must" For Any J-Frame
I purchased this kit off Brownell's and installed it in a S&W 442 in the summer of 2020. The kit is undeniably an improvement over the factory springs. Like the other reviewers, I used the 13# return spring and the 8# hammer spring. This gave me a smooth, reliable 8lb trigger pull which is a vast improvement over the stock gun. This is a great kit, and I'll be using Wilson spring kits in my future projects as available.

Unbelievable Results
Replaced the hammer and trigger spring on my S&W 642 with the "8# Hammer Spring" and the trigger spring with the "13#" one. Results are unreal, wasn't real happy with the original factory springs. With the Wilson "Trigger Spring Kit" my 642 is like a NEW gun. Thanks Wilson Combat.
