Controlled Chaos bullets offer the best of both worlds when it comes to ballistic performance. This bullet is optimal for use in .25-06 Remington and .257 Weatherby Magnum loads.

Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.

There are two philosophies when it comes to bullets. One believes rapid expansion, moderate penetration, and weight loss are best, while the other believes that moderate expansion, deep penetration, and virtually no weight loss are best. Both have their virtues and applications, but why settle for one or the other when you can have both?

Controlled Chaos ® bullets offer the best of both. Once fluid is impacted, they shed the front portion of the bullet into multiple petals that radiate outward away from the bullets initial trajectory path resulting in a massive energy spike. The bore diameter base of the bullet continues and penetrates deeply in a straight line. Both the temporary and permanent wound cavity created by this bullet separation is dramatic resulting in quick incapacitation.  The solid base creates additional tissue damage and often results in full penetration of the animal.

The Controlled Chaos ® bullet doesn’t expand or fragment when it impacts hard barriers like drywall, only when it impacts fluid, where it expands, fractures, and does its devastation.

No other bullet on the market offers the accuracy and repeatable terminal performance of the Controlled Chaos ®.

Controlled Chaos ® bullets are currently available in the following diameters: .204, .224, .243, .257, .264, .277, .284, .308, .311, .355, and .358.

Solid copper Controlled Chaos ® bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead-free projectiles.

    Coyote killers

Posted by Ben on Feb 10th 2026

I decided to give these a try in 25 creedmoor. Loaded with h4350 goin around 3150 fps. Coyotes dont do any spinning or running off a bit. Its bang.. flop! And I was impressed with how accurate they shot. .5" grouping at 100yds all day in benchmark 22inch barrel.

    Game Changer

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for another successful Pennsylvania deer season. Your 102gr .257 bullet in my .257roberts is game changer.

    Great for .257 Roberts

Posted by Les on Nov 29th 2024

These bullets are as accurate as they are deadly. 41.5 grs. of H4350 got me a 3-shot group of .5” out of a lightweight barreled .257 Roberts. A bullet from this load hit a large doe Whitetail in the neck at 65 yards and she went down and didn’t even twitch. This is the type of performance I’ve always gotten from Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos bullets.

    Antelope hunting in Wyoming 2021

Posted by Lanc on Oct 6th 2021

I loaded this bullet into 257 Weatherby brass with Norma MRP powder. It chronographed at 3800fps. I shot my antelope at 285 yards entering the left chest and it exited the right chest shattering the right front leg. When field dressing the heart and lungs could not be found as they were all jumbled together. No pieces big enough to identify. The antelope dropped immediately.
