Controlled Chaos bullets offer the best of both worlds when it comes to ballistic performance. This bullet is optimal for use in .270 Winchester and .270 WSM loads.

Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.

There are two philosophies when it comes to bullets. One believes rapid expansion, moderate penetration, and weight loss are best, while the other believes that moderate expansion, deep penetration, and virtually no weight loss are best. Both have their virtues and applications, but why settle for one or the other when you can have both?

Controlled Chaos ® bullets offer the best of both. Once fluid is impacted, they shed the front portion of the bullet into multiple petals that radiate outward away from the bullets initial trajectory path resulting in a massive energy spike. The bore diameter base of the bullet continues and penetrates deeply in a straight line. Both the temporary and permanent wound cavity created by this bullet separation is dramatic resulting in quick incapacitation.  The solid base creates additional tissue damage and often results in full penetration of the animal.

The Controlled Chaos ® bullet doesn’t expand or fragment when it impacts hard barriers like drywall, only when it impacts fluid, where it expands, fractures, and does its devastation.

No other bullet on the market offers the accuracy and repeatable terminal performance of the Controlled Chaos ®.

Controlled Chaos ® bullets are currently available in the following diameters: .204, .224, .243, .257, .264, .277, .284, .308, .311, .355, and .358.

Solid copper Controlled Chaos ® bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead-free projectiles.

    GREAT EXPANSION

This is the best hunting bullet i have ever used. I am A long time berger user and this bullet is a far better hunting bullet. unlike berger this bullet will come out the other side which can be helpful if you have to track. I have 45 years of deer under me, and this is the best hunting bullet yet. They should call them grenades.

I purchased 2 boxes 09/21 for my WC 6.8 spc and they don’t disappoint, unless you’re a hog.

I would buy again and again

If you care about the game you're hunting, shoot this bullet. I've tested it a dozen times in 10% ordinance gel and had no problem creating an accurate load at 250. My velocity from my 22" 270win is 3150 10ft in front of the muzzle. The BC could be better but it's very similar to the 130gr of a very popular brand with a yellow tipped bullet... I shot a large doe at 254 yards and it died on the spot. My wife shot a good buck at 287 yards and I watched as it jumped straight into the air and did a backflip, dying on the spot. Buy these bullets!

    Excellent accuracy & terminal performance

Load up was easy with these bullets and the price made it far less painful to shoot than the other copper bullet companies. After bringing this bullet to 3150fps in my 22" barrel I took a doe at 254 yards and my wife took a good size buck at 287 yards. Terminal performance on both deer was excellent and they were DRT. The buck actually backflipped in the air on impact and was dead where he landed. Both shots were behind the shoulder bone broadside. Upon examination both entered past the leg muscles and expanded violently in the chest cavity. Large petals about the size of a 22 cal bullet tore through the lungs. The base exited in both deer and petals were found in the offside hide of the buck. They weighed ~12.5gr each. The BC of this bullet is similar to the Nosler 130gr Ballistic Tip. I have since loaded it for my Uncle to use on his deer hunt and I would not hesitate to use it again for my own.

I've trusted this bullet and it has worked great.

I've Used this bullet on two different hunts, with success both times. I just shot my first Mule deer buck with this bullet at 400 yards. My shot was less than ideal on this buck with the shot ending up far back on the lung and the liver. Although my shot placement was poor the buck only went about 100 yards before expiring. My other hunt was for cow elk, and my shooting was much better that day. I took a shot at 465 yards, the cow was slightly quartering too feeding toward me. The First shot destroyed the bone connected to the shoulder blade and the shot side lung, with the base penetrating through the diaphram, the liver and lodging in a very full stomach. The Cow staggered 2 steps and was probably dead standing, but because she was still on her feet I sent a second round which landed 1.5 inches from the first shot and obliterated the remainder of the lungs and heart. The Elk reeled on her hind legs and rolled down the mountain. In my limited experience this has been a great bullet that has performed excellent on the game that I've been able to take with it.
