Controlled Chaos bullets offer the best of both worlds when it comes to ballistic performance. This bullet is optimal for use in .280 Remington, 7mm-08 Remington, and 7×57mm Mauser loads.
Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.
There are two philosophies when it comes to bullets. One believes rapid expansion, moderate penetration, and weight loss are best, while the other believes that moderate expansion, deep penetration, and virtually no weight loss are best. Both have their virtues and applications, but why settle for one or the other when you can have both?
Controlled Chaos ® bullets offer the best of both. Once fluid is impacted, they shed the front portion of the bullet into multiple petals that radiate outward away from the bullets initial trajectory path resulting in a massive energy spike. The bore diameter base of the bullet continues and penetrates deeply in a straight line. Both the temporary and permanent wound cavity created by this bullet separation is dramatic resulting in quick incapacitation. The solid base creates additional tissue damage and often results in full penetration of the animal.
The Controlled Chaos ® bullet doesn’t expand or fragment when it impacts hard barriers like drywall, only when it impacts fluid, where it expands, fractures, and does its devastation.
No other bullet on the market offers the accuracy and repeatable terminal performance of the Controlled Chaos ®.
Controlled Chaos ® bullets are currently available in the following diameters: .204, .224, .243, .257, .264, .277, .284, .308, .311, .355, and .358.
Solid copper Controlled Chaos ® bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead-free projectiles.
I loaded these in my 28 Nosler, Amazing accuracy with my first load. Cover five shots with my thumbnail. At 3550 fps nothings going too far.
Load development has been very easy. I haven't had the opportunity to hunt with them yet, but my gunsmith has had clean DRT kills on pigs and elk.
Used the 142 grain Controlled Chaos in my Ruger No 1 in central Montana to take a monster Mulie dropped on the spot at 275 yards. It done it's job highly reccomend
Loaded these in 7 mm Rem Mag with 62 grs of imr 4831. The first three shots resulted in a nice 3/4" group. I also load Lehighs in .458 SOCOM for hogs and they are devastating. I don't mind paying for this kind quality and accuracy. Highly recommended.
RELOADED THIS INTO MY 7MM08 WITH 44.5 GR OF WIN 760, POSTED A .249 GROUP AT 100 YARDS! READY TO SLAM SOME DEER, YOTES OR ANYTHING ELSE IN AMERICA I CAN HUNT FOR, BEING ALL COPPER WOULD NOT HESITATE TO SHOOT ELK OR MAYBE EVEN MOOS . VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS BULLET. GONNA TRY SOME 6OO YARD SHOTS WITH IT. LEHIGH KEEP IT UP, YOU ARE ONTO SOMETHING HERE!!
