The Xtreme Cavitator uses a unique geometry to form a vapor pressure spike at the nose blanketing the flank. This bullet is optimal for use in .30 Carbine loads.
Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.
There are many excellent older cartridges with performance constrained by the metallurgy available for the firearms at the time they were designed. Some are so good, as in the 45-70 Government, they have been updated for modern pressures and re-released as modern cartridges, others, like the 32 ACP will probably remain with low operating pressures, due to the number of guns in existence.
Is there a way to bring modern performance to the low pressure cartridges through advanced projectile design and manufacturing? At Lehigh Defense, the world's most innovative projectile manufacturer, the answer is a bold YES.
The Xtreme Cavitator uses a unique geometry to form a vapor pressure spike at the nose blanketing the flank of the bullet with a long envelope of air as it passes through media eliminating side drag and allowing deep penetration. The heck you say? No, it isn't voodoo or marketing hype, it is physics. The fact is, all bullets create cavitation; we just created a design with a unique nose and an air reservoir groove to accentuate the effect.
Xtreme Cavitator bullets are available in the following caliber diameters: .308 and .311.
Solid copper Xtreme Cavitator bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead free projectiles.

Welcome Alternative
Bought these for my Ruger Blackhawk to replace the standard 110 grn RN. Accuracy is very good and end result is devastating. Only problem I found was because it headspaces on the mouth, you can not crimp more than very slightly or you’ll get multiple FTFs. In a carbine with an extractor holding the case against the breachface, no problem.

More money than sense
Actually got these to load subsonic in my 300 blackout bolt gun. Because of their light weight It doesn't take much trailboss or green dot to get them to 900 fps so it is hollywood quiet. Yes, it's costly to load and burn through them in one sitting but way fun and it keeps my kids from being intimidated. Also work great on coons, fox and groundhogs. I'm getting 2" at 100

300 BLK
I used this 85 grain bullet in my 300 BLK. Loaded it with H110 20.0, 2625 fps. Worked it up in 0.5 increments and saw no signs of excessive pressure. I’d like to get a block of clay and see what it does.

Works in CZ52 Tokarev
These feed and function flawlessly in a the CZ52. I'm using 8.5gr of Alliant Power Pistol, OAL=1.331", Starline 7.62x25 brass, and Wolf .223 primers. I haven't chronographed it yet but this load is hot so please do not duplicate without working up your own load.

Vast improvement of 110 gr rn
I've been looking for a bullet to using my 30 carbine cartridges for 17 years. This one does exactly what I was hoping for. I wanted to hire velocity then 1800 FPS and I got it with this one. My chronometer averages 2570 FPS with 17.5 grains h110 powder. The other day, it went all the way through a 3/4 inch plate of steel..

Works well in both .30 Carbine and 7.62 Tok
Used my M1 Carbine for a Javelina hunt with this bullet for very good results. One shot at about 50 yards entered the front shoulder cutting down though the vitals and straight out the other side breaking though a rib. A clean kill, the animal just dropped instantly and the damage track was impressive for this caliber. I also have a couple of pistols that fire 7.62x25mm, one of which I've always like to carry as a trail gun (not sure why, just always liked it). The problem I've always had is finding a good defensive projectile to load. I finely got a good chance to run some gel tests on my loads and I was impressed by a good looked damage track and 18" to 19" of penetration. The load a use pushes them out right about 1400fps, you can push them harder but I like to keep the pressure level moderate for these older eastern block guns. Accuracy was at least as good as my hp loads although I only tested them a short range (7 and 15 meters) and I had no feeding issues. Felt recoil was actually lighter then my RN target rounds. Ideally, I think a little lighter bullet would be better for use in this caliber (due to it's length) but I doubt Lehigh would get enough demand to justify that. As it is, it's a better option in my opinion then anything else I've come across.

It's about time...
Finally someone is offering an excellent alternative to the standard 110 grain FMJ .30 Carbine loading. This bullet fed flawlessly and was as accurate as any other bullet I've loaded, but with added velocity and improved terminal performance, it's a great option for those who want something extra from their carbine. Lehigh has very friendly customer service and is easy to do business with... and with quality products, I highly recommend giving them a try.
