Lehigh Defense's Maximum Expansion technology produces projectiles with the largest wound channels of any bullet on the market. This 150-grain Maximum Expansion bullet is designed to create large expanding, high-weight retention 350 Legend ammunition.

Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.

Our Maximum Expansion® Technology produces projectiles that create the largest wound channels of any bullet on the market. These cavernous hollow points are designed to expand upon contact with a fluid-based medium through hydraulic energy. They do not expand on dry mediums like wood, drywall, bone, or sheet metal. The expansion process of Lehigh's Maximum Expansion technology is very different than that of a traditional lead-jacketed bullet that expands when it comes in contact with a hard surface – we designed these bullets to expand where the expansion is needed, and that is in the vital zone of your intended target.

Lehigh Maximum Expansion rifle bullets expand with four petals to a diameter often twice the original bullet diameter while still providing deep penetration. Contrast this with a traditional jacketed bullet that expands and quickly mushrooms the nose along the bullet's shank, once again reducing the diameter to a less effective size. Through design and testing, we can move the expansion point and maintain the expansion diameter exactly where required, providing the optimum terminal performance for the specific application.

Maximum Expansion rifle bullets are available for .223 Remington, 300 Blackout, 300 HAM'R, .308 Winchester, and .30-06 Springfield.

Lehigh Maximum Expansion handgun and subsonic rifle bullets expand with razor-sharp petals positioned AND maintained at the largest diameter to provide the greatest cutting surface. Contrast this with a traditional jacketed bullet that expands and quickly mushrooms the nose back along the bullet's shank, once again reducing the diameter down to a less effective size. The maximum diameter expansion limits penetration, making the handgun Maximum Expansion bullets ideal for situations where over penetration can endanger innocents.

Maximum Expansion handgun and subsonic rifle bullets are currently available for 9mm Luger, .357 Magnum, .38 Special +P and .45 Colt designed explicitly for the Taurus Judge. Subsonic .300 Blackout bullets are also available.

Solid copper Maximum Expansion bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead-free projectiles.

    BEST I'VE SEEN!

Ordered these as a replacement for 125gr Hammer bullets I'd been using in 350 legend. Was getting no expansion unless heavy bone was hit so needed something better. Ordered 150 of these 150gr max expansion, and first thing was the weight. Unpacked and weighed them out, 52=150.0gr, 91=150.1gr, and 7=150.2gr absolutely no outliers!!! A quick check of dimensions and even less variation! WELL DONE QUALITY CONTROL, and WELL DONE LEHIGH!!! I have shot many brands through many rifles over the years, and have never found this kind of consistency.
