The progressive nose geometry allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. To top it off, the bullet is solid copper and is able to overcome barriers to penetration, is environmentally friendly and VERY target unfriendly. Penetrating barriers such as drywall or heavy clothing prior to impacting the intended target doesn’t have the potentially negative effect on the Xtreme Defense that it does to conventional hollow point bullets.

The magic happens with the nose design where the Fluid Transfer’s radial flutes force the hydraulic energy inward and then as the energy is restricted, it accelerates outward creating high pressure spikes severely damaging surrounding tissue. This very rapid increase in fluid flow creates cavitation and massive tissue damage away from the projectile equivalent to those of the best hollow points on the market. This results in a permanent wound cavity that is two to four times greater than what a flat or round nose bullet generates and often larger than traditional or solid copper expanding bullets. What you get is a hunting or special application self defense bullet that creates a larger permanent wound cavity coupled with exceptionally deep penetration.

    Excellent Bullet for Whitetail

    Had an opportunity this fall to try out the 44mag 220gn Xtreme Penetrator bullet on a beautiful 9pt buck. The round performed excellent on a 1/4 away shot at roughly 55 yds. Not much of a blood trail, but when you see the deer fall after trotting 50yds due to the lethality of the bullet, that’s not a big deal. Excellent round! 21.4 gn of Enforcer at ~1600 fps

    444 Marlin Review

    I have used these in a 444 Marlin I purchased in the '70's, and shot very little. Small frame me, got all excited when states like Ohio allowed lever guns of certain calibers to be used. I feared my Marlin because of its 'locomotive recoil' using full bore factory loads. I finally found a guy who made beautiful lead hollow points, and that allowed me to hunt from my tree stand without getting knocked out of it. Then the Lehigh bullets came across my reloading table and changed everything. Out of four hits on pretty good sized deer, not one of them has gone out of sight.

    These rounds were each individually all perfect. The weights were realistically identical and just as advertised. The price reflects what you get. I'd say there's even value there. I don't know how they manage to manufacture these bullets to this level of accuracy and sell a box of 50 for less than a dollar a piece... Crazy good.

    I loaded up 50 rounds for my son who lives in Oregon and will let you know how he likes them when he can get some time to shoot. He's a faller and is in the woods every day. Has a big Ruger and is a good shot.

    60 years old ,been shootin ammo since I been a 20. Now I buy a bullet someone machined out . Scary looking thing ,won't be showin off for anybody with them fancy machined bullets. Looks real serious too. Not thinking anybody atsa seein me load em up gonna be thinking I jokin around.yes sir thems is some serious shit Roger Smith
