This match load delivers economical match-grade accuracy and peerless overall performance.

The new Bill Wilson Signature jacketed match load delivers economical match-grade GUARANTEED accuracy and peerless overall performance to handgun shooters looking for the practical edge over the competition.

The Signature Jacketed match uses the 230 grain Hornady Action Pistol (HAP) jacketed hollow point bullet-designed for X-Ring accuracy along with ultimate feed reliability. Low-flash, low-concussion powders and the HAP's encapsulated base create less visible blast and smoke during shooting than a typical full-metal-jacket bullet-a great advantage in dim-light or indoor conditions.

At a measured velocity of 760 feet-per-second, the Bill Wilson Signature match load is the ideal training or competition load for shooters seeking to achieve "Major" power factor without excessive recoil, undue wear and tear on your handgun or impacting your accuracy.

The Signature jacketed match .45 load has been extensively tested in 1911 style and other high-performance firearms and is the most accurate 230 grain .45 ACP ammunition available. We guarantee the Bill Wilson Signature Jacketed Match to shoot 25 yard, ten-shot groups through a fixed barrel testing device of under ONE-HALF (1/2) INCH.

    Loved This Ammo!

Posted by Anonymous on Mar 12th 2023

I was really impressed with this ammo. My groups at 15 yards were much better than normal range ammo and shooting offhand at an 8 inch steel target at 50 yards yielded 4/5 hits -- which was good for me. While I dont expect to buy this ammo to practice with, I can see me buying it for competitive shooting.

This ammo groups like nothing Ive seen before,,,, even in a Springfield. WOW. What an impressive cartridge. It may be somewhat expensive, but what accuracy. Had a new found friend shoot 5 of them, blew him away with the group out of his gun.

The Best Results Consistently Of All I Have Fired In My 1911

Posted by James May on Sep 20th 2015

If memory serves I have tried 7 different brands locally and some were quite expensive. NOTHING I have fired gives the accuracy of this ammo. It smacks of the very highest quality. The powder burns very clean so my pistol stays clean longer. Every recoil feels the same and I have never had a misfire with these. Try them; I dont know what else to say. Better than 5 stars. Definitely recommended like all Wilson Combat products.

This is great ammo - a completely different feel in terms of recoil from 230 gr factory range ammo. Accurate as well. Lets you get the most out of your gun.

    Top Quality Product!

Posted by Bill Braddock on Aug 23rd 2014

Got quite a surprise when I arrived at our company regional tournament and found both our course of fire and our target had changed from a B27 to a Q target with a 4 inch head ring and a NRA B8 bulls in the upper torso area. Hitting the 8 ring at various distances now required more precision and the quality of your ammunition gave me that precision! I am happy to say you contributed to me taking Top Shooter honors and I am now have a shot to be our companys National Champion and bringing the trophy back for the great people in our region. Thank you!

    Accuracy In A Box

Posted by Bruce Grafton on Apr 10th 2011

Last week I took a box of the Bill Wilson Signature Match 230gr HAP ammo to the range and found it to be extremely accurate, completely reliable, and very clean. I was impressed with the low flash and moderate recoil of these rounds. It was hard to believe I was shooting 230gr hollow points. With the moderate recoil I was able to return to target with little problem for a quick follow-up shot. I shoot at the 7yd and 25yd lines and found these rounds accurate at both distances. In fact at the 7yd line my pistols often placed my follow-up shots in almost the same hole. I highly recommend these rounds for anyone wanting a dependable, consistant, and accurate round. I know I will be using them again.
