The .50 GI™ was born to hit harder than anything else that fits in a 1911, and the 275 gr. Jacketed Flat Point is the load that proves it. Driven to 875 fps, this is Guncrafter Industries' dedicated hunting round, built for the discriminating shooter who demands a pistol cartridge capable of taking serious game. In the field, this load has taken hogs, deer, bison, bear, and even wildebeest, driving through more than 40 inches of penetration when it matters most.
This is not a compromise cartridge. It is the culmination of Alex Zimmermann's original vision for the .50 GI™, a purpose-built big-bore round, manufactured to exacting standards in Berryville, Arkansas, for the pistol shooter who refuses to carry anything less than absolute stopping power.
