The progressive nose geometry of this bullet allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. This bullet is optimal for use in .500 S&W Magnum loads.

Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.

‘ULTIMATE BULLET PERFORMANCE’ is the driving force behind Lehigh Defense to create new products, redefine terminal performance and to deploy modern manufacturing processes. This mantra has led us to introduce a unique and innovative product, the Xtreme Penetrator Fluid Transfer Monolithic (XP FTM) product line, for both handgun and rifles. The progressive nose geometry allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. To top it off, the bullet is solid copper and is able to overcome barriers to penetration, is environmentally friendly and VERY target unfriendly. Penetrating barriers such as drywall or heavy clothing prior to impacting the intended target doesn’t have the potentially negative effect on the Xtreme Defense that it does to conventional hollow point bullets.

The magic happens with the nose design where the Fluid Transfer’s radial flutes force the hydraulic energy inward and then as the energy is restricted, it accelerates outward creating high pressure spikes severely damaging surrounding tissue. This very rapid increase in fluid flow creates cavitation and massive tissue damage away from the projectile equivalent to those of the best hollow points on the market. This results in a permanent wound cavity that is two to four times greater than what a flat or round nose bullet generates and often larger than traditional or solid copper expanding bullets. What you get is a hunting or special application self defense bullet that creates a larger permanent wound cavity coupled with exceptionally deep penetration.

The Xtreme Penetrator is the bullet of choice for hunting large, tough and often dangerous game due to the fluid transfer and deep straight line penetration.

Xtreme Penetrator bullets are currently available in the following diameters: .355, .357, .364, .400, .429, .452, .458, .475 and .500.

Solid copper Xtreme Penetrator bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead free projectiles.

    Excellent

So far I have loaded about 125 of these for my S&W500. I used the load data provided and worked out a great load for my pistol. Once I had a consistent load I liked, I fired into a 8”x3/8” AR500 steel plate at 25 yards, and it left quite the imprint. Have not used it on soft tissue but I imagine it would be devastating based on videos I’d seen for this bullet in other calibers. When I do carry my 500 in the Jeep for off-reading and camping adventures, these are what I have loaded.

    Amazing bullet

I am loading for the 50 Beowulf at a max suggested load without issues.I had to adjust overall length to resolve feeding, but that is necessary for each bullet style for this cartridge. Amazing penetration. Went through a 14 inch log and 10 inches into the dirt behind the log. No deforming of the bullet. Shot into silt with 30% water content there is over 3 feet of penetration and huge holes made at the contact point. The hand easily follows the channel to where the bullet stops.

    .500 Xtreme Penetrator 420gr Bullet

I really like the look of this round. I like the weight of the round ... its hard to find this size which offers a larger range of shooting needs. The round was easy to load with the spec sheet you provided for load data. I have not fired them but plan to test them at the range this weekend.
