Love 120 SSTs, but the tips broke
So I love 6.8spc 120grain SSTs, and I love Wilson Combat products. I just opened a box i bought about 6 months ago. Loaded my mags, went hog hunting, did countdown with my son, 3, 2, 1....CLICK. I cleared chamber quick, wouldnt load next round. Switched mags, pulled charging handle, shot 1x, didnt chamber next round. After hog excitement over, checked rounds I had ejected/cleared, plastic tips had bent or broken. I've never had this happen with either Hornady or Wilson Combat SST ammo. I'm thinking it may be bad batch of bullets. The Hornadys 120 SSTs I had used up 20mins earlier had fed fine. It was frustrating, and some hogs got away because of it. But, as I've said, I've never had bad Wilson Combat product ever, so... I think this is an anamoly.
