I purchased one of these Wilson Combat collapsible stock adapters for my Remington 870 pump shotgun to replace a Mesa Tactical LEO Gen 2 adapter I already had on my gun. I needed the slightly more downward angle that the Wilson Combat adapter places the buffer tube at. Anyhow, the different Wilson adapter angle definitely wound up being the perfect fit for using my shotgun's front bead sight. As a plus, I also like the look more of Wilson's milled from aluminum billet adapter and it's matte black anodized finish. It's simply a higher quality made product over the Mesa Tactical version, which is made out of cast aluminum and a powder coat finish. The Wilson Combat adapter is definitely a quality item, but there is one thing I don't like about it, that being that it's two QD Sockets are open through and through, which means if you're not using them for your sling mounts, it leaves those two QD sockets open for debris to enter through them and into the hollow area of the adapter, which is right behind the rear of the gun's receiver. I have tried finding QD socket covers/plugs for when one is not mounting swivels in them, but surprisingly, nobody seems to offer such an accessory. Maybe Wilson Combat will read this review and take advantage of this gap in the market, maybe offering such a QD plug as one of their accessories ;) I do recommend this WC stock adapter... It does the Remington 870 justice :)

Well Made But Very Uncomfortable
This fit my 870 perfectly, and is of very good construction. However, with a standard AR grip or a Magpul MOE Plus grip, the seam where the adapter meets the grip stands very proud, and is extremely irritating to your middle finger when gripping the shotgun. Very uncomfortable. I'll have to try different grips

Nice Addition To My 870
Bought this the day the CQB Shotgun was introduced. Added it and the Grip and Adjustable Butt Stock to my 3 year old Wilson Combat Standard 870 and presto! A NEW gun in the cabinet. It is much easier to handle, shorter when the stock is compressed and overall a much desired improvement, providing similarity between my home defense AR, Pistol Caliber carbine and the 870.

Way Cool!
Just added this to my Wilson Standard that Ive had for a few years now. it is like having a NEW gun. Used the adjustable buttstock and grip from Wilson and made over my Standard into a CQB style shotgun. Much easier to handle especially indoors! Thanks WC for another great product!
