Nice sight but needs better durability.

Nice sight that adds a touch of elegance to a 1911, but durability is questionable. After a year of use the gold bead exited the sight. I contacted customer service and they sent a replacement sight. About a year later the same thing happened. I contacted customer service again and asked if they could just send a replacement bead instead of the whole sight. The representative said he would let me know the next day. A week later he finally told me it couldn’t be replaced, and didn’t offer any other resolutions. In the end I sent it to a gunsmith that does gold bead installations and had the bead pinned into the sight. It cost $110, but was worth it. Very disappointed in Wilson’s customer service, not even offered an apology.
