This snag-free design is engineered to be the same height as standard factory sights, so you don't have to worry about making any adjustments. It also offers an improved sight picture that's sure to give you an edge on the range. With a .180" front sight height and .125", this top-of-the-line sight is ready to give your Python revolver the accuracy it deserves.

  • Installation screw and wrench supplied

Installation Instructions:

  1. Remove factory front sight with a .050" hex key into the set screw at the front of the muzzle
  2. Loosen the screw and the old front sight can be lifted straight up and out of its recess
  3. If you lose or damage the set screw, we have provided a replacement
  4. Insert the front sight into the recess ensuring that it is flush with the barrel rib and retighten the set screw

NOTE: For a semi-permanent installation you can use blue threadlocker on the screw threads.

    Bought front and rear sights for my anaconda and both worked fine until i tried out some heavier buffalo bore and the first round sheared the front sight completely off. worked great with the lower power ammo though.

    Good Sight replacement with a caveat

    Fit and finish of the sight are good. The one caveat is that the set screw dimple is slightly off center which causes the sight twist to the left when the screw is tightened down. This has the effect of having crank the rear sight to the left as well in order to zero the gun. It works but it bugs me having the sight cracked all the way to the left. Reinstalled the original sight. Caveat emptor.

    Great looking sight, really brings an extra touch of class that the Python deserves. I took a star off since they're advertised as snag free when they're anything but. In fact I'd call it extra snaggy, there's 2 sharp points at the top of the sight that will easily snag on clothes. Added bonus to this is that it's great for scratching itches. I'm ok with this though as I don't intend to use this for carry, and it looks so damn good.
