Love these!!! They look gorgeous on my Springfield Garrison!!
I had been longing to get aftermarket wooden grips for my Springfield Garrison .45 for quite some time. The factory grips are nice but kind of bland for my taste. I decided on cocobolo grips, but the price was a limiting factor for me. But then when Wilson Combat started a clearance sale on several items including these Cocobolo grips, I was sold!! Bought them last weekend and installed them, and my Garrison went from beautiful to flat out gorgeous!!! Tried out my Garrison at the range this weekend for the first time with the new grips and they feel so great. Due to the increased thickness compared to the factory grips, they did spread out recoil a little bit more. Awesome grips!! Would absolutely recommend!!!

Great grips, great price
Ordered a set of these while they were on sale for $30 for my X-TAC. I generally prefer full checkered wooden grips on a 1911, and these were no different. For me, they work better than the g10 factory x-TAC grips. Do a better job keeping my hands locked in around the side when firing. Not too aggressive to eat your hands up or destroy clothing when cc’ing. And they look so much better. Steel guns deserve real wooden grips.

Quality Item But Check For Fit...
Wife ordered these for me for Christmas. Was excited to throw them on my Remington R1 Carry Commander. Didn't clear the ambi safety and the grip cracked when tightening down. I shaved to fit and after rubbing some gun oil on the shaved section it doesn't look bad. Made it work but learned an important lesson. Took one star off for how easily (and loudly) it cracked, not because it didn't fit. It's not like these get torqued down.

My High Expectations Were Realized!
The grip color and checkering is outstanding. The checkering is sharp, clean and comfortable. They fit my RIA with ambi safeties like a glove and the safeties work normally. I highly recommend them for anyone trying to make a good 1911 into a pistol that you can be proud of .

Just put the grips on my taurs pt1911 if you have the ambi safety be careful on the grip with the ambi cut the safety will not seat all the way down. it does engage fully and does disengage just doesnt allow the safety to come all the way down when disengaged havent noticed any problem with safety staying on though overall good and beautiful grips
