Precision Ultra

The Precision Holsters Ultra Appendix holster will provide optimal comfort, concealment and functionality for your EDC X9 or SFX9 4" handgun.

In collaboration with Precision Holsters, we bring you the Ultra Appendix holster with an exclusive carbon fiber pattern and Wilson Combat medallion. The multiple angles found in the negative angle platform allows the grip of the firearm to be closer to the body for an added level of concealment. This allows a minimalist design which adds in the overall comfort for the appendix carry position. An angled thigh pad on the back side has contoured edges and a thigh relief cut that eliminates pressure points commonly found in appendix holsters.

  • Fits the EDC X9/SFX9 4" handguns, with or without a light rail (and smaller)
  • Right hand draw
  • Carbon fiber design
  • Negative Angle Platform TM: This platform found on the front of the holster adds a tucking pressure to pull the butt of the gun towards the body, which aids in the level of concealment value
  • Two-belt clip system provides stability while building your grip and assists in weapon retention
  • Front overhang ledge for one-handed charging of firearm
  • 4 points of adjustable retention
  • Angled thigh pad on back with rounded edges to provide comfort
  • Thigh relief cut on non-light baring models for additional appendix carry comfort
  • Cut, sewn, and assembled in the U.S.A.

WARNING:  Kydex and other polymers are excellent materials for a fast and secure holster but any molded or formed polymer holster will cause damage/wear to any firearm finish due to friction from molding, abrasive grit from the holster-making process, or dust and grit embedded in the holster from range use. Over time, grit embeds in the soft polymer and will cause deep scratches if your holsters are not kept clean. A silicone rag is good for this purpose.

    Disappointed

Posted by Panc on Feb 4th 2024

This holster looks great, but as for trying to carry my EDCX9 appendix carry with it, it is super uncomfortable and it prints badly because the stocks protrude out significantly.

    Pertinent Information

I just discovered that this holster does not fit a SFX9 with the optic plate. Now I’m having trouble finding any holster that fits this weapon.

    Very Sloppy Holster

Posted by Jondan M Smith on Nov 19th 2022

This is the first Kydex holster I have ever encountered that had such a poor fit. My sample had 1/4" or more of vertical slop that allowed the gun to move around freely. It appears the holster is too long for the 4-inch gun. Tightening the tension screws resulted in too strong of a hold and no matter how this holster was tensioned it marred the finish on my brand-new gun. Do not buy this holster.

    Really Pulls Grip In

Posted by Philip Shearon on Mar 23rd 2022

I purchased this originally for my edcx9. It does a great job of pulling the grip into your body so that you can even carry appendix in a good fitting T-shirt. The bonus is it works with my SFX as well. I have not had any problems with it hurting the finish on my gun as one of the other posters suggested.

Great Holster To Help Remove Your Finish.

Posted by Dennis Lemke on Dec 10th 2020

This is a very sloppy holster but great to take the finish off your edc x9. Guaranteed to remove the finish off your slide, frame and trigger guard. Get a good leather holster and don’t waste your money on this pos.

    Great Craftsmanship, But.....

Posted by D Vito on Jul 8th 2020

nice quality holster but it is not very comfortable. Its like having something iwb that should not be iwb. Really wanted to like this given I am an aiwb guy and have been for years. Given the size of the edc x9 being roughly the size of a glock 19 (which I have carried for over 10 yrs aiwb) the edc x9 should not be an uncomfortable firearm to conceal this way. With this holster, it is not comfortable. Due to the lack of aiwb from the industry regarding the edc x9, ill just have to wait and see what comes available
