LEHIGH DEFENSE 6.5 GRENDEL | 120GR, LEHIGH TCC, 20/BOX

The heart of this 6.5mm Grendel ammunition is the innovative 120-grain Tipped Controlled Chaos (TCC) bullet from Lehigh Defense. Like the proven Controlled Chaos, the Tipped Controlled Chaos bullets offer the best of both and have a higher ballistic coefficient. Once fluid is impacted, it sheds the front portion of the bullet into multiple curled petals (normally 5-7) that radiate outward away from the bullet's initial trajectory path, resulting in a massive energy spike. Then, the base of the bullet continues in a straight line and penetrates deeply, often resulting in full penetration of the animal. Both the temporary and permanent wound cavities created by this bullet separation are dramatic, resulting in quick incapacitation.

The Tipped Controlled Chaos doesn’t expand or fragment when it impacts hard barriers like drywall, only when it impacts fluid, where it expands, fractures, and does its devastation.

In addition to its superior ballistics, the 120-grain Tipped Controlled Chaos bullet is made from high-quality materials that ensure consistent and reliable performance. Each round is meticulously crafted to meet our stringent standards and provide optimal accuracy.

Additional Tips for Optimal Performance

For optimal accuracy with Lehigh Defense bullets, it is important to clean the bore of all non-Lehigh Defense copper fouling before shooting Lehigh Defense bullets. Copper fouling in the bore that has been deposited using common cup and core bullets will substantially negatively affect the accuracy of Lehigh Defense solid copper bullets.
