I carry a Tisas 1911a1 for work. I spent the extra money on a good Wilson Combat mag because I have been told they are bar none, the best. I go to shoot my 100-round requalification with my fancy new mag and 1 have 3 malfunctions. 2 failures for the round to go into battery, where the round is shoved nose up into the chamber, shoving the projectile into the case and damaging the case, which caused the round to be almost unextractable. Than another malfunction where a spent case became stuck between the feed lips on the mag and the top of the chamber. I have not had any issues with any of my other magazines.
