The Wilson Combat Battlesight, created by Bill Wilson, is the ideal sight for low-light and dynamic range conditions. It has a .145" wide U-Notch design to provide you with an optimal view of your target. The concave rear blade is serrated 40 lines per inch for precision accuracy. Additionally, the notch area is recessed into a semi-circular pocket giving you maximum protection and creating a clear picture of what lies ahead. With minimal fitting required when placing on any slide already cut for 65° x .495" dovetail (Wilson 463/Novak Low Mount), this product offers unbeatable convenience as well.
Securely fasten your sight with the massive dual set screws to guarantee a solid, lasting attachment. The exterior shelf profile is crafted for single-handed slide cycling or clearing jams in an instant. For those seeking an ideal rear sight that provides unparalleled visibility even in low light environments, dynamic range scenarios and for shooters of advancing age, look no further than the Wilson Combat Battlesight! With its distinguished height relative to traditional low-mount sights (at .030 inches taller) as well as compatibility across both full size and compact handguns - this sight offers perfection at every turn.

Just had this rear sight installed together with a WC Tritium/Orange Glow replacement front site (.14” wide blade). The combination of the two is just what I was looking for. Great sight picture for my 71 years young eyes. I could not be more pleased with this purchase!
Excellent. Along with the front tritium sight, The rear Tritium battlesight Is the best I have used on a 1911. Thank you.
I had the Wilson Combat Battlesight with Tritium inserts installed on my Para-Ordnance P-14 .45 ACP along with a Wilson Combat Tritium Front Sight .190" in height. It took me about one magazine to adjust to the deep U notch rear sight, but once I adjusted to the sight picture I really liked it. The deep U notch Tritium rear sight coupled with the .190" Tritium front sight allowed me to pick up more of my target than traditional more shallow square notch rear sight and allowed me to pick up a quicker "flash" front sight picture when shooting in a combat or self defense scenario. When shooting in a scenario when slightly more time was allowed the Tritium dots on the rear and front sights made it possible to acquire a more refined/accurate sight picture. At 15 yards my standard practice load; a 205 gr. cast SWC at approx. 900-925 fps shot to point of aim and put every round into about a 2.5" group. I found that I liked this particular read/front sight combination so much that I subsequently ordered a set for my Sig P-227 .45 ACP.
Being past 60 my eyesight isn’t as good as it was 10 years ago. I recently purchased a WC 1911 ACP Compact model.
Well I own a Springfield Range Officer, replaced most things, and last was
