I swapped this spring from a stock 23# spring along with the value line hammer, sear and sear spring to bring a crisp 4 pound trigger on an officer 1911.

Trigger Job
I used this main spring in my Kimber Ultra CDP II. The stock Kimber main spring is shorter but dont be fooled, the Wilson combat may be longer but it is defiantly more springier. The Kimber one is stiffer. I did my own trigger job using all Wilson combat parts and I produced a 3 lb trigger on my Kimber Ultra CDP II. I am 100% amateur in gun smithing and with a good understanding of the inner workings you can easily do your own trigger job. Wilson Combat makes top notch parts.
