Upgrade your officer's sized 1911 with the Wilson "Custom-Tune" spring kit for the most optimal results! Replacing the stock springs is a simple first step.
The first step when tuning your pistol is replacing the stock springs with Wilson "Custom-Tune" Springs. These springs are produced from the finest high tensile spring steel, assuring a consistently smooth action, positive ignition, and proper timing.
The mainspring (Reduced Power) offers a reduced hammer tension that makes cycling easier and reduces the trigger pull by up to 25%. The firing pin spring (Extra Power) provides heightened firing pin pressure for added durability, in addition to greater safety if you drop your pistol. The heavy-duty recoil spring (Extra Power) ensures proper feeding when using factory loads, as well as improved longevity due to its sturdy construction. The heavy-duty recoil spring (Reduced Power) is designed with a softer spring perfect for light practice rounds but remains heavy-duty for extended use.
- Hammer Spring (21# Reduced Power)
- Firing pin spring
- Recoil Spring (24# Extra Power)
- Recoil Spring (18 1/2# Reduced Power)
- Compatible with most Officer's sized 1911 handguns
NOTE: Always wear high-quality safety glasses when installing or fitting any spring to prevent eye injury. High-quality safety eyeglasses should be used when shooting any firearm.

Worked great in Colt Officers ACP
Did this upgrade on my Colt Officers ACP along with a trigger job, slide stop, mag release, hammer, sear, disconnector, and grip safety. Turned this from a gun I really couldn’t get a high grip on and wasn’t fond of, in to a gun I love to shoot. The spring kit was a nice little add on with the other upgrades. Love WC stuff!

I'D Buy Again
Purchased this for on hand replacement parts. I doubt I will use the reduced power recoil spring but we'll see.

Not For Rock Island Armory
This set will not work for the RIA 1911 compact; the mainspring housing well is too small in diameter, by far.

Not For Ria Cs (Compact)
1. The recoil springs taper down at one end, to a flat grind. Neither of the recoil springs will come close to fitting over the guide rod because of this.
