    Jammin 1911

This spring was the answer to my RIA 1911 CS, which failed to go into battery once or twice with every magazine. Fired 5 magazines without a hangup.

    Just What The 1911 Needed

Posted by Allan Jones on Jul 3rd 2014

I bought two of these springs for both my Wilson Combat CQB & my RIA Tactical Compact 1911 and they were replaced with no problem. Be advised though that the original RIA spring will be shorter, however with the addition of this spring not only am I throwing the brass further but the action seems much more crisp.

    Seems Good So Far!

I purchased this spring for my Rock Island Officers Model, which was suffering from a condition I believed to be from a weak spring. It was throwing brass to the front instead of the rear. When this spring came in, I immediately installed it. So far it is much stronger than the one that came with the Rock Island. And I think it will have solved my problem. But I cannot tell for sure yet.
