Great Spring But Not For 1911 COMMANDER!
I purchased this sear spring for my WC ACP 1911 Commander sized pistol chambered in 9mm. For whatever the reason and I think it has something to do with the fact that the correct spring (the Colt version) has cutouts in two of the spring fingers, this spring is a disaster when used in the Commander as it raised the trigger pull to around 7.5 pounds. Once I changed the sear spring to the Colt version the trigger pull went down to 4.75 pounds where it should be. I made sure this sear’s fingers were properly seated and it made no difference, this spring simply doesn’t work in the Commander sized pistol. If you have a Commander size pistol look at the WC Colt type spring which worked flawlessly once I put it in.

Great Spring
I installed this spring with the value lined sear in my Colt Competition and it dropped my trigger pull from 4 3/4 lb to 3 1/2 lbs, can't beat it for the money. I only buy Wilson Combat parts for my 1911's.

Functions Right Out The Bag!
It worked right out the pack. No tweaking needed. Very strong. They are essential if you are looking for a good trigger. Ive never had a problem with any Wilson product.

4 Pound Trigger Springfield Trp
I polished the edges which contact the disconnector and sear but other than that no fitting and no bending required to achieve 4 pound trigger pull. Pre-travel pull is about 1.2 pounds. Nice spring and very nice feel now to my 1911s trigger and grip safety.

Must Have Modification
I bought a RUGER SR1911 and modified it with many W-C Parts. This spring is simple way to make a less expensive gun work much better. Absolutely DROP IN installation. You Must know how to disassemble and assemble a 1911, this goes beyond field stripping.

Better Then Ever!!
Added this to a Rock Island Armory M1911A1 FS. Now the grip safety doesnt wiggle back and forth and more. Made the entire firing system feel tight again.

Great Product For Any 1911 Owner
This Sear Spring from WC replaced the stock sear spring in a Rock Island Armory 1911 Officer Model/Compact .45ACP. It dropped right in. I immediately felt a huge overall improvement in tension and feel of the trigger and beaver tail safety. I recommend this product to anyone with a 1911.
