The first three rifles that I purchased were Bushmaster Varminters. These two had 2 stage Frank White design triggers. Having experienced the feel of the standard military or production triggers, I decided that all of my AR builds would have 2 stage triggers in them. I wanted a wholly contained trigger group that would eliminate pin walk or rotation and found Wilson Combat TTU-M2 trigger unit was what I seemed to be looking for. Im really impressed by the design! The primary sear being on an extension of the hammer and the secondary sear on the bottom of the hammer. In my opinion and that of others who have shot my rifles, these triggers are great. I now know just when my rifles are going to fire. No more contemplation of just when the rifle is going to fire. Take up the first stage, then concentrate on the sights. Im sold on these triggers. I also use Wilson Combat parts in my 1911. Ive never had any problems. They also back up what they manufacture. Thanks Wilson Combat!
Just installed in my Stag lower, took 3 mins, because I took my time, WOW. I just built upper with a Wilson Combat barrel. First time at a short range and .5 MOA at 100 yards with 55gr PMC. Cant wait to get to the long range with some Match ammo. Def worth every penny. Nick and the rest of WC are exceptional and his advice was dead on....
I recently purchased and installed a WC 2-stage trigger assembly in my AR. Installation was straight forward and quick. I did a side-by-side comparison once installed against the Geissele trigger in my other build and Ive got to say, the Wilson Combat trigger wins hands down! i have owned firearms since i was 9 yrs old. im now 63. i have customized various firearms but have never worried about the trigger unit until now. i own a bushmaster ar-15 that i have tricked out some but wanted to go farther and completely finish the firearm and this trigger unit has really impressed me i absolutely love the pull and action of this unit. now long range shooting with this 20 inch bbl bushmaster will be a dream. it was already very accurate but now there will be absolute dead on shooting. you cant go wrong with these products,very pleased. happy shooting! it will be for me.
I am not mechanically inclined but I had no trouble installing this trigger. After installing on a Sig 716 my groups improved immediately. The trigger has half of the pull weight of the original trigger which is over 7 lbs. Looking forward to another trip to the range. It breaks clean and has no creep or overtravel that I can feel.
Love the feel of the two-stage trigger, the mushy feel of mil-spec trigger is gone. Definitely recommend.
