Controlled Chaos bullets offer the best of both worlds when it comes to ballistic performance. This bullet is optimal for use in .204 Ruger loads.

Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.

There are two philosophies when it comes to bullets. One believes rapid expansion, moderate penetration, and weight loss are best, while the other believes that moderate expansion, deep penetration, and virtually no weight loss are best. Both have their virtues and applications, but why settle for one or the other when you can have both?

Controlled Chaos ® bullets offer the best of both. Once fluid is impacted, they shed the front portion of the bullet into multiple petals that radiate outward away from the bullets initial trajectory path resulting in a massive energy spike. The bore diameter base of the bullet continues and penetrates deeply in a straight line. Both the temporary and permanent wound cavity created by this bullet separation is dramatic resulting in quick incapacitation.  The solid base creates additional tissue damage and often results in full penetration of the animal.

The Controlled Chaos ® bullet doesn’t expand or fragment when it impacts hard barriers like drywall, only when it impacts fluid, where it expands, fractures, and does its devastation.

    Purchased these a while back for a 204 Ruger. Sold that gun and built a custom 20 Tactical. Have shot some tiny groups. Could push these into the 4000 fps realm but no need when you find a node at 3850. Have used a variety of powders and primers doing load work ups with these. The price keeps me from experimenting more. Deadly on coyotes out to 240 yds. No runners. Massive damage inside without fur damage.

    I loaded these up on top of 23 grains of IMR 4198 using Federal small rifle primers Groups are 1/2 inch or less at 100 yards through my AR platform.204 I’m totally impressed with their performance and will be using these for fox hunting in the years to come.
