Loaded with the Wilson Combat exclusive Speer 130 grain HAM'R HOT-CORE this is the most field tested and best selling load we offer. This bullet has been used to harvest thousands of hogs, dozens of whitetail deer and numerous larger animals successfully. With good accuracy and a near ideal combination of velocity and bullet weight this load is simply an overachiever.
Uses: Hunting for game up to 400 pounds or self-defense/tactical when controlled expansion and deep penetration is required.
I have used this round to kill dozens of pigs. Nothing at long distance, usually between 20-70 yards. They don't run.
With an 11.3" SBR and shooting from 40 to 60 yards I recently took 4 hogs. Big wounds. Bang flop in every case. Amazing performance in the short barrel.
I’ve shot several hundred of these rounds over the past few years. They are very accurate and are one shot rounds on deer and hogs (when I do my part)
Built an 18" 300 HAM'R upper for my AR. WC Tactical Hunter barrel and WC BCG. I did the work to "accurize" it and now it's finally been at the range. With Primary Arms SLx 6 at max mag, and at 25 yds, the 130 gr round made 0.25" to 0.75" groups from bench on max magnification, and I def was adding a lot of error myself. The 130 gr will go where you send it, no doubt!
Just finished my HAM’R build. Sighted in at 100 also about an inch group at 200. Very consistent rounds. Will be ordering more every week to build up supply for sure!
Used my home built 300 HAM’R for this years MO deer season. Opening morning 8pt using the 130HC. Perfect shot placement, good expansion pulverized the heart and lungs.
Excellent round. Consistently shoots 1 / 2 inch groups at 80 yards, shot out of an 18 inch wilson combat barrel. Buy these now.
Two hogs this weekend. Neither one took a step. Awesome ammo. Can not wait to take a deer with my new 300 hamr
Just built a 300 ham'r and on the first shot in the woods my son shot a 150lbs sow. At first he said dad I missed. When I looked through my scope I said no she is down. He free-handed a 50-yard shot that hit her in the shoulder. At the range this ammo on 5 shot groups at 50yds I had multiple shots touching clover leaf.
