Loaded with the Wilson Combat exclusive Speer 130 grain HAM'R HOT-CORE this is the most field tested and best selling load we offer. This bullet has been used to harvest thousands of hogs, dozens of whitetail deer and numerous larger animals successfully. With good accuracy and a near ideal combination of velocity and bullet weight this load is simply an overachiever.
Uses: Hunting for game up to 400 pounds or self-defense/tactical when controlled expansion and deep penetration is required.

North Carolina deer
The brass 200 bulk ammo on sale, after taxes, and shipping, costs the same (per round) as a 20 round box of ammo at our local walk in store. At the time of this review, June 2024, it is approximately $1.50 per round. The North Carolina deer have all dropped in their tracks within 100 yards. Please note, we have not been able to test the 130gr .300 HAMR-Hot Core on wild game past 100 yards because our terrain has not presented opportunities past that distance.

Superbly accurate at firs sight in
Highly recommended for accuracy and functionality - cost is high but better than the majority - should be good all around load esp for deer and Hogs etc.

Bang Flop
The ideal bang for buck round I've used for ferral hog. Within 100 yards it's bang flop, also surprisingly pleasant when suppressed. Overall my #1 choice for feral hog hunting with my 300 HAM'R. If your running suppressed in humid or hotter environments recommend the nickel cased.
