Controlled Chaos bullets offer the best of both worlds when it comes to ballistic performance. These bullets are designed for the 350 Legend. They are manufactured to .356 diameter for enhanced accuracy. NOTE: May cause a slight case bulge in certain brass.

Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.

There are two philosophies when it comes to bullets. One believes rapid expansion, moderate penetration, and weight loss are best, while the other believes that moderate expansion, deep penetration, and virtually no weight loss are best. Both have their virtues and applications, but why settle for one or the other when you can have both?

Controlled Chaos ® bullets offer the best of both. Once fluid is impacted, they shed the front portion of the bullet into multiple petals that radiate outward away from the bullets initial trajectory path resulting in a massive energy spike. The bore diameter base of the bullet continues and penetrates deeply in a straight line. Both the temporary and permanent wound cavity created by this bullet separation is dramatic resulting in quick incapacitation.  The solid base creates additional tissue damage and often results in full penetration of the animal.

The Controlled Chaos ® bullet doesn’t expand or fragment when it impacts hard barriers like drywall, only when it impacts fluid, where it expands, fractures, and does its devastation.

No other bullet on the market offers the accuracy and repeatable terminal performance of the Controlled Chaos ®.

Controlled Chaos ® bullets are currently available in the following diameters: .204, .224, .243, .257, .264, .277, .284, .308, .311, .355, and .358.

Solid copper Controlled Chaos ® bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead-free projectiles.

    update

using a ruger american ranch in 350 legend with 16" barrel i had tested these in loads going around 2490fps and great groups and water jug test with fragments penetrating 6"-12" and base penetrating 18" at a 100yd impact range. being this is not a long range rifle/ammo combo i decided to sacrifice a little accuracy for some more velocity/energy. i upped my load and got my velocity to around 2590fps! ended up shooting a large body mature whitetail at about 60yds quartering away. entered near last rib and made it to the boiler room. deer may have gone 30-40yds. there was no exit wound due to long angling shot path. the bullet did its job!

fired from Ruger American ranch 350 legend, 16'', 1-16'', win. brass, fed. s.r. match-ar primers and h110 powder with temp. around 30 degrees. made up 4 different loads that printed .791'', .536'', .634'' and 1.051''. the .536'' group 1 shot vel. was 2489 fps. this charge was below Lehigh's max. load data and faster than that but i used MY rifle, brass and primers and not sure of their temp. at data testing. i did a water jug test at 100 yds impact using 2 1/2 gal. water jugs sideways (now 6'' deep each) to make sure i would capture fragments. going into the second jug there was a 4'' pattern just like the number 5 die. fragments didn't make it out of the second jug and base just made it through the third jug and made an impression on 4th. 2nd testing identical.
