The progressive nose geometry of this bullet allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. This bullet is optimal for use in .40 S&W Auto and 10mm Auto loads.

Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.

‘ULTIMATE BULLET PERFORMANCE’ is the driving force behind Lehigh Defense to create new products, redefine terminal performance and to deploy modern manufacturing processes. This mantra has led us to introduce a unique and innovative product, the Xtreme Penetrator Fluid Transfer Monolithic (XP FTM) product line, for both handgun and rifles. The progressive nose geometry allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. To top it off, the bullet is solid copper and is able to overcome barriers to penetration, is environmentally friendly and VERY target unfriendly. Penetrating barriers such as drywall or heavy clothing prior to impacting the intended target doesn’t have the potentially negative effect on the Xtreme Defense that it does to conventional hollow point bullets.

The magic happens with the nose design where the Fluid Transfer’s radial flutes force the hydraulic energy inward and then as the energy is restricted, it accelerates outward creating high pressure spikes severely damaging surrounding tissue. This very rapid increase in fluid flow creates cavitation and massive tissue damage away from the projectile equivalent to those of the best hollow points on the market. This results in a permanent wound cavity that is two to four times greater than what a flat or round nose bullet generates and often larger than traditional or solid copper expanding bullets. What you get is a hunting or special application self defense bullet that creates a larger permanent wound cavity coupled with exceptionally deep penetration.

The Xtreme Penetrator is the bullet of choice for hunting large, tough and often dangerous game due to the fluid transfer and deep straight line penetration.

Xtreme Penetrator bullets are currently available in the following diameters: .355, .357, .364, .400, .429, .452, .458, .475 and .500.

Solid copper Xtreme Penetrator bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead free projectiles.

    Questionable Load Data

Posted by Ron Ankeny on Aug 8th 2024

I ordered the 140 Super Penetrator .40 cal for my 10mm. The load data listed for Longshot powder shows a velocity 125 fps faster than I could achieve loading over their published maximum. That's pretty common in this industry.

    400 legend

Posted by Alf on Apr 21st 2024

Been using these on 400 legend, seen them fly over chronograph at 2900+ fps, 2600 ftlbs of energy, light on the felt recoil Only complaint would be price, would like to see less expensive, other than that, I will continue to use these bullets Planning on using with Whitetail Deer hunting

    Very impressed !!

Exceptionally accurate with little muzzle rise. Ideal for follow up shots and it hits like a hammer and penetrates extremely well. Great innovative design, perfect for a hunting sidearm or primary. Easy to handload. I shot different powder loads, all fed perfectly without a single failure.

    This is a superb bullet.

Exceptionally accurate, fast, very flat shooting and hard hitting. Minimal recoil considering the light weight of this projectile. A bit expensive but for a great product, it's difficult to argue.
