Caliber Notes: The 6.5 Creedmoor is a top choice of precision rifle competitors and hunters looking for the optimum AR-based extended-range rifle cartridge. It makes ultra-long-range shooting an easy proposition and offers similar long-range trajectories to a .300 Winchester Magnum with less felt recoil than a comparable .308 rifle. The high ballistic coefficient bullets loaded in the 6.5 caliber make this downrange performance possible because they have less wind drift and more retained energy than a comparable .30 caliber bullet at 1000 yards. When seeking the best extended-range shooting or hunting performance in an AR platform rifle, the 6.5 Creedmoor is the logical choice. With a wide variety of quality factory ammunition available and .308 AR magazine and receiver compatibility, the 6.5 Creedmoor is in a performance class by itself.

Thanks for creating an awesome product to the machining to the shipping and all the people in between that Mike Wilson combat an awesome company to do business. Keep it up will be ordering more of everything you have. Thank you.
I put this barrel on an Aero Precision Ar10 upper in hopes of making a lightweight battle rifle but it kept jamming with almost every round....when I examined the brass they had big deep dents in almost every piece...I took it home and removed the firing pin so I could carefully watch the rounds cycle and they were catching on the center part of the feed ramps....I started taking a closer look at them and they were very sharp and did not allow the round to smoothly feed. I own many Wilson Combat barrels and have been satisfied with most so I never expected an issue like this. Also when using bullets with plastic tips some were breaking off when trying to load. I tried several different mags but couldn't get it to stop damaging the brass and bullets. If I'm missing something here let me know...I'm not new to Ar10 setups but this one has me stumped.
Excellent barrel! It is everything that I was expecting. Had it for almost 2 years and its holding up great. I will likely buy a spare barrel from WC.
