    My example of this barrel shoots under 0.6 MOA with the 120 SMK bullets, using 2 prominent Grendel powders. The rifling is comparable to a hand lapped custom barrel costing twice as much. Exterior finish is flawless. Everything Wilson Combat makes has been top notch, in my experience. On top of that, WC's customer service equally matches their product quality.     Used this barrel with a rifle lower. MOE stock, Geissle SD-2 and super 42 spring. Perfect function with and without suppressor. Leupold 2.5x10 scope in inexpensive mount. Love the feel and balance of rifle. Barrel looks great.

    Barrel looks fantastic. After 4 bullets, 5 different powders, 2 different upper receivers and bedding the barrel extension, the best group I can get is 1.4. My Palmetto barrel also gets 1.4 with the right load. This was an aesthetic upgrade, at best.

    Shoots Stupid Good!

    I've shoot two different handloads through this since I bought it. They both shot amazing. The group I shot today was .44 inches at 150 yards. WOW. Looks beautiful and shoots great. The parts this rifle are made of are all low end except this barrel. It makes my build, all by itself. So awesome! Finished rifle, ready to shoot weighs 10.0 pounds. Not bad for what it is.

    20” 6.5 Grendel Recon Tactical

    I’m not sure which is better, this barrel or WC’s customer service. Both are top notch. Gas port is perfectly sized, smooth shooter (running a JP polished spring and T2 powdered tungsten buffer). Bolt is a maxim installed into a WC NP3 carrier. Tested 60 factory hornady loads, American gunner 123 gr bthp and hornady black 123 eld match. Worst group was 1 MOA, best group was .44 MOA with factory ammunition! For the relatively light weight of this barrel, I am very impressed with the accuracy. Barrel break in was simple, bore is so smooth, perfectly polished. Ready to stretch its legs to 600-1000 yards. You cannot go wrong with this barrel! I am seriously tempted to try out the 22” 6.5 grendel super sniper once it’s back in stock. Keep up the great job WC, you have a customer for life here.
