Wilson Combat
You can trust the nickel boron Wilson Combat Bolt Carrier Assembly for 5.56 NATO, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this low mass and light weight BCG will provide reliable performance when you need it most.
Constructed with precision, the nickel boron Wilson Combat Bolt Carrier Assembly for 5.56 NATO ensures performance and reliability when you need it most. This lightweight low mass bolt carrier assembly has been precision machined from aerospace-grade 9310 tool steel, providing superior toughness and durability. It's even gone through Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to ensure optimal performance. For added strength and reliability, the carrier is constructed from 8620 hardened steel with forward assist cuts, while the gas key is properly staked using grade 8 fasteners so there are no worries about gas leakage or failure under pressure. To top it off, this BCG features a corrosion-resistant nickel boron coating for increased lubricity and smoother cycling of your rifle. To experience optimal recoil control and lightning-fast follow-up shots, Low Mass bolt carrier groups are the ideal choice for sporting or competition rifles. These lightweight carriers offer a quicker lock up time that is most beneficial when coupled with an adjustable gas block to refine pressure and timing of cycling.
NOTE: The only difference between “semi-auto” and “full-auto” carriers are the carrier weight and external profile. The “full-auto” carrier is slightly heavier to provide more mass and lower cyclic rate that can benefit carbine length and shorter gas systems, short barreled/suppressed rifles and machine guns. The “semi-auto” carrier is slightly lighter to provide the least amount of recoil impulse for rifle length gas systems and it's design makes reinstalling the firing pin easier after cleaning.
I just installed in on my Colt Lightweight 16 inch A2 and ran 300 rounds through it - functioned flawlessly. It's a little pricy, but it's a Wilson Combat!
Beautiful looking bolt, can’t wait to test it out. Quality is top noche
I was able to compare both of their Nickel Boron (received wrong part at first) but their customer service is top notch! I ordered the Low-Mass and was able to compare side by side. Both are very nicely made. Low Mass weighs a lot less due to the extra cutouts. Cycles smoothly even without lubrications. Overall solid product I'm glad I went with Wilson Combat for my .300 Blackout Pistol Build. I paired this with their 8.5" barrel.
