EXTRACTOR, 70 SERIES, 1911, .38 SUPER/9MM, BULLET PROOF, STAINLESS
Wilson CombatThe Wilson Combat stainless bulletproof extractor for the .38 Super/9mm 1911 is the highest quality extractor available on the market today. Built with superior materials, this part has been designed to provide you with maximum reliability and performance.
Wilson Combat Bullet Proof ® extractors are crafted from premium alloy steel and then heat treated to ensure maximum durability. This allows them to maintain high tension for extended periods of time without any sign of chipping or breakage, making them the number one choice among professional gunsmiths. No other extractor on the market offers such superior quality and performance.
Our 1911 extractors make installation a breeze, as they only need minimal fitting for smooth and reliable operation. Even better, in some cases you can simply drop them into place without any final tightening needed! When used with our Wilson Combat firing pin stop, you will be able to get complete optimization of the extractor function on all types of 1911 pistols.

PH 13-8 Stainless Steel:
13-8 Mo stainless is typically used for valve parts, fittings, cold-headed and machined fasteners, shafts, landing gear parts, pins, aircraft components, nuclear reactor components and petrochemical applications requiring resistance to stress-corrosion cracking. Generally, this alloy should be considered where high strength, toughness, corrosion resistance, and resistance to stress cracking are required in a steel. Tensile strength of 215,000 PSI
Series 70 vs Series 80 1911 Extractors:
The difference between Series 70 and Series 80 extractors is a plunger retainer stud machined into the Series 80 extractor. This retainer stud holds the firing pin safety plunger that is visible next to the disconnector rail in place on Colt-style Series 80 slides. All extractors which are designed to work in a Series 80 1911 will also work in all Series 70 guns, however extractors designed for Series 70 guns lack the machined cut which allows the firing pin lock plunger to be installed and therefore can not be used in Series 80 guns. Kimber series II guns can use either a 70 series or 80 series. All Springfield Armory 1911 pistols are 70 series.
DISCLAIMER: Wilson Combat 1911 small parts may require minor fitting and should only be installed by a qualified gunsmith. Although these parts are intended to be drop-in, due to the range of tolerances between various manufacturers' handguns, some fitting may occasionally be necessary. We highly recommend all fitting/installation of small parts is done by a professional gunsmith.

Works good!
Works good in my Rock Island Armory BBR 3.10 9mm. Although it is the wrong color and sticks out by about 0.5mm-1mm on the back.

Heavy Duty
I bought one of these extractors and fit it up to my Springfield Range Officer Operator. I had some commercial reloads and ended up with about six out of 100 that jammed hard into the chamber. I had to jam the lower front of the slide into the table a couple times for each jam to free the stuck case. The Wilson extractor did not chip, bend or break and kept a firm grip on the rim and extracted each case. This is a stout part.

Great Addition To My Kimber Stainless Target Ii
Was getting failures to feed with my Kimber Stainless Target II 9mm after putting around 5,000 rounds though it. Bought this Extractor. Was a drop in. No customization. Perfect fit. Lots of YouTube videos will walk you through it, if necessary

Kimber Stainless Target Ii 9Mm Fixed!
I have a Kimber Stainless Target II in 9mm which has had failure to extract issues for a while now. When I originally bought the gun I experienced failure to extract with approximately 6 different common brands of ammo including Blazer, Magtech, Federal, Independent, etc. Sent the gun back to Kimber one time about a year ago. Worked ok until just recently. Anyway I figured enough is enough. I installed this Wilson extractor myself in about 5 minutes, followed by approx. 110 rounds through the gun with no issues. Not a singe failure to extract. I can note that I did not have to do any tuning of this extractor. In my case the extractor went right in as received from Wilson Combat. I have a reliable gun now and look forward to shooting a bunch of different brands of ammo to monitor its performance. Thank you Wilson Combat!

Fte Solved
I was consistently having FTE issues with my Kimber Pro Carry II HD 38 Super. The Kimber extractor profile looked OK and it passed all the tests, but FTE issues drove me nuts. Sooo ... I replaced it with the Wilson Combat ... problem solved - have not had one FTE since installation.

My Fte Problem Solved!
I was disappointed at my recently purchased Kimber Stainless Target II 9mm with FTE issues. I had never had that issue on my TLE 45 ACP. I just replaced the Kimber extractor with this WC bulletproof extractor and now my Kimber runs flawlessly with even the cheap Federal 9mm ammo from Walmart. Thank you WC. BTW, I only use WC 1911 mages for my 1911s.
