EXTRACTOR, 70 SERIES, 1911, .38 SUPER/9MM, BULLET PROOF, STAINLESS
Wilson CombatThe Wilson Combat stainless bulletproof extractor for the .38 Super/9mm 1911 is the highest quality extractor available on the market today. Built with superior materials, this part has been designed to provide you with maximum reliability and performance.
Wilson Combat Bullet Proof ® extractors are crafted from premium alloy steel and then heat treated to ensure maximum durability. This allows them to maintain high tension for extended periods of time without any sign of chipping or breakage, making them the number one choice among professional gunsmiths. No other extractor on the market offers such superior quality and performance.
Our 1911 extractors make installation a breeze, as they only need minimal fitting for smooth and reliable operation. Even better, in some cases you can simply drop them into place without any final tightening needed! When used with our Wilson Combat firing pin stop, you will be able to get complete optimization of the extractor function on all types of 1911 pistols.

PH 13-8 Stainless Steel:
13-8 Mo stainless is typically used for valve parts, fittings, cold-headed and machined fasteners, shafts, landing gear parts, pins, aircraft components, nuclear reactor components and petrochemical applications requiring resistance to stress-corrosion cracking. Generally, this alloy should be considered where high strength, toughness, corrosion resistance, and resistance to stress cracking are required in a steel. Tensile strength of 215,000 PSI
Series 70 vs Series 80 1911 Extractors:
The difference between Series 70 and Series 80 extractors is a plunger retainer stud machined into the Series 80 extractor. This retainer stud holds the firing pin safety plunger that is visible next to the disconnector rail in place on Colt-style Series 80 slides. All extractors which are designed to work in a Series 80 1911 will also work in all Series 70 guns, however extractors designed for Series 70 guns lack the machined cut which allows the firing pin lock plunger to be installed and therefore can not be used in Series 80 guns. Kimber series II guns can use either a 70 series or 80 series. All Springfield Armory 1911 pistols are 70 series.
DISCLAIMER: Wilson Combat 1911 small parts may require minor fitting and should only be installed by a qualified gunsmith. Although these parts are intended to be drop-in, due to the range of tolerances between various manufacturers' handguns, some fitting may occasionally be necessary. We highly recommend all fitting/installation of small parts is done by a professional gunsmith.

Great Extractor
I ordered this extractor for my Kimber Stainless II 9mm. I was having failure to eject on select ammo. Now my Kimber feeds anything.

Saved The Weapon.
Wilson Combats extractor has my Kimber running the way Kimber says its supposed to, flawlessly. The Kimber is becoming a Wil-ber. After Im done the only original parts; frame, slide and sights.

Kimber 9Mm
Trusted Scotts review and found the same results. After replacing the factory Kimber extractor with the Wilson Bullet Proof Stainless I have put 500 rounds of various brands and bullet weights through my Kimber 1911 Custom Target and not a failure to extract. Quality at a fair price, made in the United States; nice work!

Quality.
A gun that does not work is a rock. I replaced my factory Kimber extractor with this one and the difference is night and day. I can now trust my gun. What more can you say!
