Great addition to my Colt!
I installed a blued checkering panel on my old Mark IV Series 80 1911 during a refinish. I had heard that sometimes they will work loose, so I added a smear of epoxy on the front strap. Yo have to look CLOSE to be able to tell that it isn't shop checkering!

Great Product!!!
I purchased 2 the blue and ss for my 1911s One full size and one commander size. The fit was perfect they look amazing and feel better than amazing. After 200 rnds each they are holding up just fine, and you can't tell they are inserts from 12 inches away!!

good value
This is my second Wilson frontstrap, I love them. It appears to be real frame checkering. The best $10 you can spend on your 1911, IMHO.

Works Great
I was pretty skeptical, but decided to try this out on a Mil-spec 1911 due to the price, all I can say is it works great, adds lots of traction for a very low price, and installs pretty easy.

No Reason Not To Buy This
This is and awesome inexpensive way to get a little more grip on you 1911. For 10 bux a pop, you really dont lose much if you decide do machine checker your frontstrap in the future.
