    Better Than Grip Tape

Posted by Mike Hoffa on Feb 5th 2017

Bought one of these for a RIA tactical. Works great. Need to order another one. I removed it and put it on a Springfield Armory Champion Lightweight. No problem. You have to look close to even see that its not a factory part for the gun.

    I Hate Useless Gadgets

Posted by Kevin Collier on Nov 23rd 2014

...but this works beautifully! Slid straight on to my 1911, looks great and really improves the feel! Im ordering more, not just for my other 1911, but also for a Sig P220 [it needs to be shortened a bit, but fits!].

Received the checkered front strap and found it easy to install. Improves the feel and grip of the gun at a price anyone can afford. Highly reccommend this part.

    Nice Add On

Posted by Paul Evans on Jun 19th 2013

This is a Nice Option if youre stuck with a pistol with no front strap checkering. It does a Very Nice job and makes the gun easier to handle. I would recommend this to a friend and/or buy again.

    Cheap Looking, But Feels Awesome!

Posted by Dan T on Apr 28th 2011

It looks like some kind of cheap plastic, but after I installed it I was very impressed with the feel. Awesome part for the money, it completely gave my commander size 1911 a great new look and feel! Awesome product Wilson!

    Checkered Frontstrap Success

For an add on this product works. I even adapted it to an officers model by shortening it with a belt sander. Easy and feels great.
