    Nice but a little shorter

This fits the 92x centurion but it is about a quarter inch shy of being flush. Probably will just run the plastic one until I find something better

A Great Upgrade To Any Compact Or Centurion 92

Posted by John T on Nov 16th 2022

I purchased this as an upgrade for my 92X Centurion. It was highly recommended by the Beretta representative I spoke to since Beretta no longer makes a steel guide rod for the Compacts and Centurions. The pistol has a much more balanced feel with the steel guide rod. Recoil is minimally reduced, but I'll take a steel guide rod over a plastic one any day. For those confused by the Pre-Series L, the Beretta representative said as long as you don't have a guide rod with a captive spring, you are fine. Don't forget the Wilson Combat Shok-Buff. That makes a world of difference as well.
