Outstanding quality
I converted my full length guide rod to the standard GI set up using this part. Just what I expected, nice smooth operation paired with Bill Wilsons 18.5 lb spring GI barrel bushing and circle plunger cap. If you want service and high quality you have come to the right place.

Got this rod to work with a Wilson 22 lb recoils spring i purchased for my Delta Elite. Dropped in and works well.

Price & fit great
Bought a new SA Loaded SS target. Didn't want to even try the 2-piece guide rod, and since I was replacing it I got two of these (great price, why not) one for my SA 1911-A1 Mil-Spec Defender series as a back-up. I like having parts, not getting parts when I can. Only have 100 sent, but not one issue. Coodos to SA and Wilson Compact.

Full length replacement
Bought this for Springfield full length guide rod replacement, along with bulletproof cap, quality of piece was great performs flawlessly

Minor Fitting
I got this for my RIA 1911 Government FS, looks good and it’s hella strong. Much prefer it over the full length guide rod and cap that came with the 1911. Minor fitting is required where it contacts the slide next to the barrel as it’s a tiny bit too wide. Shouldn’t be anything a hand file can’t fix.

Size Issues
I just ordered this as a replacement for the factory 2 piece rod in my sig sauer tacops (.45 acp). Only problem is the new rod is to large for the factory spring. Any advice on a replacement spring that will fit this rod?

On A Para X 1911 Ltc
Not a drop-in item for a Comander-sized Para x 1911. Fitment included minimal removing of material using my hand file. Its priced very well at $8 and since it is the last recoil spring guide you will buy I have to give it 5-stars.
