NOTE: To get a tight and secure fit with this handguard, the screws have been specially tapered. To stop any galling or corrosion of softer rails during installation, make sure to apply some grease lightly to each screw’s tapered shoulder. If you find that one of these screws is stuck at any point, don't try removing it; immediately contact Wilson Combat's customer service team for help.

Best handrail I've ever felt
This handrail allows my entire hand to for around comfortably. The only issue I had was the barrel nut tightening. They only give you one spacer and tightening it was difficult. I loved the feel so much that instead of returning it I ordered some 10-32 by 3/16 inches and dimpled the barrel in two spots to hold the barrel nut in place.

Great handguard, timing was off
This is a super light and solid handguard and I am happy overall. Like other reviewers, my handguard didn't time correctly within the specified torque range for any spacer/barrel nut direction combination. I over-torqued by a few ft-lbs to get the proper timing. I like the full-length picatinny rail, I think the diameter is perfect, and I like that it has seven mlok rows. I wish it had integrated QD sockets at both ends.

Needs Improvement
Purchased two of these for a build, one came in with missing paint and aluminum exposed. Sort of a bummer, but all my Wilson finishes seem to scratch easy.

More Shims, Please
On my Colt AR-15, 9MM this installation was a bit of a challenge. I tried every combination of washers, twice, and couldn’t get the hand guard to index properly. I ended up taking a few thousands off of the Colt barrel washer, and even then, I had to torque it just right. It took a lot of trial and error, but I finally got it. Maybe my gun was just an oddball. Wilson makes the best parts in the world. But, Gosh darn Bill, give me a couple more shims next time. lol. Now that it’s on perfectly timed, the hand guard is really nice.

Horrible Design. Needs A Lot Of Attention
No matter the spacers. Mine wont line up or sit snug against the upper! I paid 130$ for this! There is a hell of a lot more efficient ways of designing a handguard to a battle nut. This one isn’t the answer.
