The Wilson Combat Bullet Proof® Stainless Tactical magazine release has been re-designed and expertly CNC machined from hardened, billet tool steel to provide the best magazine release on the market.
The Wilson Combat Bullet Proof® Stainless Tactical magazine release has been re-engineered and meticulously CNC machined from robust, billet tool steel. Its button is slightly larger than a typical part by 1/16” for increased speed and smoother functioning that accommodates both competition purposes and concealed carry needs. Additionally, it features 30 LPI checkering to prevent slipping when being activated; this easy upgrade will dramatically enhance the feel of performance any 1911-pattern pistol offers.
When it comes to high-performance handguns, Wilson Combat® Bullet Proof® parts are unrivaled in terms of quality, craftsmanship and cost. Each component is skillfully CNC machined from solid steel billet for a precise and perfect fit; castings or substandard imported injection molded parts will never use the Bullet Proof® name. Invest in Bullet Proof® parts with full assurance they are free of any defects or breakage - a guarantee that can't be beaten! We offer the strongest warranty and highest quality parts in the industry.

Get This, Not The Concealment
I tried the Concealment release first. Too smooth, shallow checkering.

Small Component - Big Improvement
Love my Wilson's, but have a Springfield Garrison stainless. Finally replaced the classic walnut "thin Line" grips, with black polymer checkered grips with my military emblem. These grips are my preferred - which are much thicker; and with the change, I couldn't eject the magazine without some additional effort. EZ replace with the Wilson Tactical "Bullet Proof" stainless extended mag release, Spring, and Lock. Spring tension is equal to the factory one. Perfect quick release with the side of my thumb every time.

Well Made But Stiff
Very easy drop in-a little ruff but will improve with use. Spring is still the original which is waaaay to stiff. Ordered the Wilson replacement and lock. Hope it will be less stiff.

I Am Very Satisfied
I purchased this magazine release for my Springfield Professional 1911 because the original release was just too low(short) in my opinion. And even though my pistol is ALL "Black T" finish, I bought the stainless release just to be different, and to match up with the barrel bushing. I absolutely LOVE how this Stainless button looks and functions in my Springfield Professional. The height & checkering is PERFECT, in my opinion. Very positive mag engagement, going in. Press the button, magazine comes "flyin" out, consistently. I would definitely do this upgrade again on any 1911. NO fitting needed on "my" SA. It was a 2-minute, "drop in", r & r job, on "my" pistol.
