This product extends only 1/16th of an inch further than usual and provides better grip during mag changes without sacrificing portability. With a reliable blued finish, the tactical magazine release will fit and look great with any traditional 1911 handgun. Get yours today!

  • Extended 1/16" than a normal release pad
  • Lock (R15BS) and spring (R15A) is recommended for installation

NOTE: Wilson Combat 1911 small parts may require minor fitting and should only be installed by a qualified gunsmith. Although these parts are intended to be drop-in, due to the range of tolerances between various manufacturers' handguns, some fitting may occasionally be necessary. We highly recommend all fitting/installation of small parts is done by a professional gunsmith.

    I got this magazine release with the stainless magazine catch lock and spring to install on my Colt Officers model. The tab on the magazine catch lock extended slightly beyond the release tube which kept it from dropping right into place. A couple hits with a dremel tool took care of the problem and it works perfectly.

    I have installed these on all my 1911s. Great product. I did buy one from another manufacturer and was extremely unhappy with it. I will continue to buy and use this product.
