    Absolutely Horrible!

Posted by Justin Tucker on Feb 2nd 2022

I have been working on/around anything primer related since my umpteen years in service. Never, and I mean never, have I seen a more poorly designed upgrade or part in general. My, what was new 92 LTT, looks like complete garbage due to attempting to install this mag release. I will never recommend, nor purchase, another Wilson Combat part again.

Using Bill'S Name In Vain - Lol!

Posted by Don Cox on Mar 12th 2021

Guys, I messed with this thing for about an hour and was getting frustrated until I found a video by "Prepper Action" on YouTube on this very subject. The key is to get the release "perfectly aligned in the frame" & I then used a plastic bicycle tire lever to push the non-button side in and down. It snapped perfectly into place. No fitting required, and man is it one awesome improvement to my 92.

    No Fit

Posted by James York on Feb 4th 2021

The oversize mag release will not fit. There are no instructions to make it fit. I carried the 92 as a duty arm in the military and as a police officer. Grip modification is also required. This is unacceptable for a duty weapon. Fiddle to install is unacceptable. JTY

    Needs To Come With Directions

Posted by Michael on Jun 21st 2020

I spent about 9 hours trying to figure out how to install this- doesn’t take a vice or any kind of crazy pressure to install. After much trying and actually breaking off a piece of this thing- it finally clicked how to install. In all the 10 or so videos I found to instruct me how to install it, there were no HELPFUL YouTube videos that I could find about how to install it correctly. I almost took this thing to a gunsmith I was so frustrated, and in the process of figuring it out, I ended up scratching my 92FS M9a1. It’s absurd that this doesn’t come with some sort of instruction or at least a link to a video about how to put it in. So, the product is 5 stars, but Wilson gets a 1 Star for not providing any instructions about how to put this in.

Scratched my Beretta 92FS M9a1 during installation then it broke. Unreal.

    Broke On Installation

Posted by Michael on Jun 20th 2020

Would not fit Beretta M9a1. Tried everything. It eventually broke as I was trying to fit it in. Unfortunately this was my first product I tried to fit from Wilson- am doubtful about the other pieces I’ve ordered from them.

    Looks Great!

Posted by Robert on Nov 27th 2019

Have a brand new m9a1 I had to round down the edges on the opposite edges of the release edge to get finally slide it but had to also file down my factory grips where the release pushes into the gun... after a little work it looks great. Would be five stars if it was a simple fix not truly drop in but looks much better than factory original

    Doesnt Fit 92G-Sd

Posted by Stan Mak on Feb 3rd 2018

I have early 90s 9mm and .40 G-SDs and it doesnt fit either one. I spent hours trying to install it but it was so tight that I couldnt depress the mag release a millimeter even drenched with oil. I thought I was doing something wrong but realized it didnt fit after 6 hours of installation. Maybe this fits the newer Berettas but not the older ones? Great product though and the Wilson Combat logo looks cool on the mag release.

Great Drop In Item, Tough To Install

Posted by Matthew Conelly on Dec 8th 2016

Took a little finesse, but finally it seated right. They dont lie when they say these parts are manufactured to strict tolerances. Great feel in the hand and added to the function of the gun. I like the logo, some may prefer a the knurled for a better grip. Wilson combat makes another great part.
