For shooters who find it difficult to hit the standard-size slide stop, our Stainless .45 ACP semi-extended and fully machined Bullet Proof® slide stop is designed especially for them.
If you struggle to hit the traditional sized slide stop, then our Stainless .45 ACP semi-extended and fully machined Bullet Proof® slide stop is designed just for you! Crafted with precision machinery, this will be a game-changer in your shooting experience. This extended lever design makes it easy to press during tense moments or when wearing gloves. It is just as wide as the original bullet proof model, meaning that this new version can be used in competitions and hard use tactical 1911 handguns. The built-in detent ensures an easier installation while the serrated top makes it easy to activate and disengage. Additionally, its maximum tolerance body helps reduce wear and improves long-term reliability. Trust your firearm to this rugged slide stop and you will not be disappointed.
When it comes to high-performance handguns, Wilson Combat® Bullet Proof® parts are unrivaled in terms of quality, craftsmanship and cost. Each component is skillfully CNC machined from solid steel billet for a precise and perfect fit; castings or substandard imported injection molded parts will never use the Bullet Proof® name. Invest in Bullet Proof® parts with full assurance they are free of any defects or breakage - a guarantee that can't be beaten! We offer the strongest warranty and highest quality parts in the industry.

Got this new Slide Stop
Got this little guy for my Colt 1911. It has a dark blemish just under the thumb shelf. I took a scribe and some 1000 grit to remove it. Put it in the gun, looks good and locks the slide back. I can't comment on its longevity yet, time will tell with.

Great Product
Ordered a week ago and received it today. Got my Colt Defender out of the safe, popped out the old slide stop and installed this one. Went in with no problems didn't have to do any fitting. Looking to get one for my Springfield Garrison next.

Perfect 👌. Dropped right in on my DW Heritage.

Tight Fitting
This one dropped right into my Kimber Pro CDP with a tighter fit than the original. Now all 3 of my 1911s wear these semi extended SSs and I am specifying one on my new ULC Professional Wilson will soon start to build for me

Great Product
Doing further upgrades on my EDC Kimber, this order I got this slide release along with the BP lowered safety. I expected to have to do a fair amount of fitting on this part but was surprised it needed very little. I had to shorten the shaft a bit with a dremel / sand paper and very lightly dress a few 90 degree angles with a little file for easier insertion.. but that was all. Glad I have a dremel, because this is real steel here. Tight tolerances and a perfect finish..even where it does not matter. Maybe a lil bit pricey but considering the craftsmanship here its a good deal. Thanks Mr Wilson.

Love It!
My wife shoots the Kimber and she didnt like the factory release so i added this one and it has made her a happy camper! only thing i did was to file down the back side so it would not scratch the frame and added the WC notch. If you have small hands and use the release it really makes it easy to release it.
