    Rough

Posted by Taj on Jan 8th 2025

Will not buy this Wilson Safety again. Have been fitting 1911 parts, including ambi safeties for almost 50 years. This one is pretty rough and requires a lot of attention. The Bullet proof model is much better.

Added To My Smith & Wesson Pc 1911 As The Stock Lever Broke Off

Posted by Josh L on Apr 28th 2011

I had to file down the piece for a while to make it fit but after talking with my gun smith friend he stated that Smiths are known to be special! The part has been great! Not too hard to install and has stood up for me for almost a year no problems. I shoot about 300-400 rounds a week out of this gun and have done that for the last year. The stock lever didn’t last more than 5 months. Good part but just be ready to do a little bit of smithing if you own a Smith and Wesson 1911.
